ABOUT PARTNERS: PROJECTS – ICELAND.
“Transylvanian Moviepreneurs” is a cultural project realized by the partners of the Foundation Civitas – for Civil Society, 23 FILM and PROJECTS – Iceland in the framework of the European programme RO-Culture funding programme, period September 2020 – March 2021. The project “Transylvanian Moviepreneurs” is financed by EEA funds, launched through the Ministry of Culture and Management Unit through the RO-Cultura programme.
PROJECTS is an Iceland-based company founded by Guðný Guðjónsdóttir who, over the past 12 years, has worked on over 50 creative projects as CFO and CEO (2007- 2017) in one of Iceland’s largest independent production companies, called Sagafilm. A few of the productions produced at Sagafilm are Mr. Bjarnfreðarsson”, “Cold Trail” and “The Falcons”, as well as targeted projects in the area of production services, such as Intersteller (US production with Warner and Paramount), Faust (US production with Russian production), “Nova Zembla” (Danish production) and many others.
Subsequently, Guðjónsdóttir established the company PROJECTS (2017-) as co-founder and CEO. PROJECTS is a company located in Iceland, specialising in consultancy for accessing grants for film productions. The company’s focus is directed both at strategies for creating partnerships for film co-productions and in the area of training and support for the production process.
PROJECTS is therefore an Icelandic company that provides consultancy and services in film productions, and also has a comprehensive expertise through various types of productions: Film, TV shows, documentaries, animations etc.
PROJECTS and Guðný Guðjónsdóttir support international partnerships precisely through the exchange of expertise and experience that such collaborations offer.
